Membership

     We warmly invite all retired educators or persons that have worked within the school system to be become an active member of the Belmont County Retired Teachers Association.  BelCoRTA offers an opportunity to interact with others with similar interests, and to remain in contact with old friends.  Our organization helps members remain informed of legislative issues affecting health care and retirement benefits, keep up with the latest county news, and to become involved in worthwhile community service activities. 
  
Membership for 2017:
We have 188 members, with 109 that having dual membership (BelCoRTA & ORTA).

The membership committee consists of Judy Nemeti, Rose Durant, Margie Schaffer, Marge Koren, and Catherine Tuttle.

ORTA will be celebrating its 70th birthday this year.  Please consider joining if you haven't.  I will have membership forms at the September meeting.

How can you join?
Simple:  Fill out an application card and pay membership dues for the first year.

Annual Dues:
Local -   $10.00
ORTA - $30.00

Any retired teacher or person who has worked within the school system is welcome to join.  It doesn't matter what school system you were with or where you live.
